Floyds Fork TMDL Public Meeting This Week

The Next Floyds Fork Public Meeting is July 24, 2012

What: Public Meeting to Discuss the Development of a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Water Quality Model for the Floyds Fork Watershed

Who: The Kentucky Division of Water (DOW) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region IV in Atlanta, Georgia When: Tuesday, July 24, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Where: Middletown Elementary School Cafeteria 218 North Madison Avenue Louisville, KY 40243

Why: The Kentucky DOW and EPA Region 4 will present information regarding the ongoing TMDL development process in the Floyds Fork watershed. This will include presentations about the current monitoring, TMDL model development, the formation of a technical sub-committee and an update regarding the stakeholder engagement process. DOW will also provide an update about the Floyds Fork bacteria TMDL.
