HBAL wins National Membership Drive

The Home Builders Association of Louisville won a national Membership Drive for its size category of 1,000+ members! During the months of November and December 2012 member volunteers of HBAL worked to recruit 175 new member companies to join the Association, which represented a 9% increase in total membership. The Home Builders Association of Louisville continues to be the second largest home builders association out of roughly 700 in the country.

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) hosted a year-long membership contest last year with a focus across the country for local HBA’s to beat their 2011 membership total figure in 2012. Near the end of the year NAHB sponsored the Beat 2011 Surge Membership Drive, which offered financial incentives to the winner of each size category. During the International Builders Show in Las Vegas on Tuesday, January 22 HBAL leadership was presented a check for winning the 1,000+ size category. John Miranda, Pinnacle Properties of Louisville, LLC; Chuck Kavanaugh, HBAL Executive Director; and Bob Thieneman, Jr., R.J. Thieneman accepted the check from a Wells Fargo executive.

Congratulations and THANK YOU to all Home Builders Association of Louisville (HBAL) members who helped with the Beat 2011 Surge Membership Drive! It was your hard work that helped HBAL win its size category and because of that we were presented with this check at the International Builders Show. We look forward to reinvesting this money into the Association to provide member services and continued opportunities to connect members to customers!
