On November 13, Louisville Business First published an excellent opinion-editorial by Mariah Weyland Gratz of Weyland Ventures. This op-ed discusses the importance of Historic Tax Credits to our industry. To read it, please click HERE.
As you may be aware, this tax provision could be reduced or eliminated completely—and our Kentucky Congressmen and Senators need to hear from you!! Historic Tax Credits have been instrumental in economic development projects across the Commonwealth, and in fact, have been used in Louisville on 104 redevelopment projects during a 14-year period (many of which are highlighted in Mariah’s op-ed).
