Homearama 2020 to Be Held Virtually

The Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville (BIAGL) announced today the cancellation of an in-person Homearama 2020.  Homearama, the region’s premier home builders, design, and landscaping event was scheduled to be held July 11-26, 2020 at Norton Commons, the walkable new urbanist community in Prospect. The decision to cancel the in person tours was based on the BIA of Greater Louisville’s intent to abide by current guidelines and to protect the health and safety of the public.

“For more than 50 years, the BIA of Greater Louisville has hosted Homearama and we’ll continue to do so this year, just in a modified format,” explained BIAGL Executive Vice President, Juva Barber. “While Homearama won’t be in person this year, you’ll still be able to see the hard work of our members and the latest design trends by taking the virtual tours of each of these nine beautiful homes at bialouisville.com/signature-events/homearama beginning July 20, 2020.”

BIAGL builder members who constructed homes for this year’s Homearama are: Bentley Homes, Caliber Homes, Castlebuilt Homes, Joe Kroll Builders, Mason Construction, Mastercraft Homes, Ramage Company and Leo Thieneman & Sons.

Homearama will return in its standard format to Norton Commons in July of 2021.

“Despite the pandemic, we are still seeing great demand for inventory in the market. In fact, we have already pre-sold all nine 2020 Homearama show homes,” said Charles Osborn III, managing director of Norton Commons. “For 2021, we’re working with our great team of builders and designers to prepare another stunning park setting site in this award-winning community.”
