(Past Event) Looking for a New Home? There’s an App for That!

Louisville, KY, April 25, 2016 – From creating your grocery list, to controlling your home’s thermostat, there’s an app for almost everything including finding your new home. The Tour of New Homes presented by RE/MAX is Greater Louisville’s largest app-driven open house. The Tour utilizes the free app Parade Craze to showcase new homes in new communities across Greater Louisville.

To participate in The Tour of New Homes simply download the Parade Craze app to a mobile device and select the Louisville Tour of New Homes event. The app features a picture, details about the home and a map with step-by-step directions to drive to each home. The app will stay active for attendees to refer to even after the event ends.

The Tour of New Homes is free to attend and takes place Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1 from noon to 6:00pm both days. The homes featured on the Tour range from substantially-complete construction with options for interior customization to fully-furnished model homes. For homeowners looking to build a home or make a move soon, there is no better way to find all of the options available for communities, builders and new home design than the Tour of New Homes. The homes on the Tour are all new construction homes built by Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville (BIA) Builder members.

The BIA began The Tour of New Homes in 2015 and the event was met with great success. BIA Registered Builder Perry Lyons stated, “We had a very positive experience in the Tour of New Homes last year. This event allows people looking for new houses to view many homes in a weekend and plan their visits and routes efficiently by using the Parade Craze app.”
