See the BICF playhouses at Homearama

The Building Industry Charitable Foundation Playhouses that were built by HBAL members and YouthBuild Louisville for deserving Kosair Charities Kids are on display at Homearama 2012 at Rock Springs and Shakes Run.

Visit Rock Springs to see the Corbett’s Castle built by Registered Builder Pat Durham, Pat Durham Builder Inc. The castle is equipped with amenities like cable TV, Internet, air conditioning, running water, a refrigerator and more! You can enjoy the Bromley’s Doll House, built by Registered Remodelor Brandon Bailey, Bailey Remodeling and Construction, at Shakes Run. The Doll House has a lofted bed, television, running water, air conditioning, and is beautifully decorated for a little girl.

Both playhouses were built as part of the annual Playhouse Project which is organized by the Building Industry Charitable Foundation, the non-profit charity of the Home Builders Association of Louisville in partnership with Kosair Charities and YouthBuild Louisville. After Homearama the playhouses will be moved to the homes of each of this year’s recipients. The playhouses are built to provide spaces for the children who receive the custom-designed houses to play and continue their therapy. They are designed with the children’s abilities in mind so that the spaces can be enjoyed by the kids with little to no assistance.

If you would like to support future playhouse projects, please consider donating to the Building Industry Charitable Foundation.
